Thobe El Ez was founded by two Arab students who met at work, brought together by a shared background and a common vision.

Although we were both born in the United States, we were raised in the Gulf—one in Saudi Arabia and the other in Dubai, UAE. Growing up, the thobe was more than just clothing. It was part of our everyday lives, our culture, and our identity.

After returning to the U.S., we found ourselves missing that feeling—the comfort, simplicity, and confidence that comes with wearing a thobe. It wasn’t easy to find pieces that truly captured that same experience. At the same time, many of our American friends who visited the Middle East experienced that same comfort and connection, and wanted to bring it back with them.

That’s where THOBE EL EZ began.

The name “EL EZ” represents dignity, pride, and honor—values that are deeply rooted in our culture and reflected in every piece we create. Our goal is to provide thobes that stay true to tradition while fitting seamlessly into modern life.

We focus on clean design, comfortable fabrics, and a fit that works for everyday wear—whether you’re reconnecting with your roots or experiencing the thobe for the first time.

For us, the thobe is more than just clothing. It’s a connection to our past, a reminder of where we come from, and a way to carry that identity forward.
